1. Definitions and Agreement Basis
Nomad Self-Storage (the “Company”) provides self-storage units (“Unit” or “Space”) for rental to the Customer (the individual or entity renting the unit). This Agreement is a self-storage license that permits you to occupy a storage unit for storing property; it does not create a tenancy or leasehold interest in real property. The Company is not a bailee or warehouseman of your goods – you retain possession and control of stored items at all times.
By storing items with us, you accept these terms.

2. Use of Storage Unit
• Permitted Use: Storage of personal belongings such as luggage, surfboards, books, clothes, appliances, and boxes. Not suitable for large furniture (e.g., beds, sofas, desks, mattresses).
• Access: Customers in good standing enjoy 24/7 access via our secure app.
• Security: You must secure your unit with a lock. We do not keep keys.
• Relocation: We may relocate contents to another equivalent unit for operational reasons.
• Inspections: We may enter units in emergencies, for legal reasons, or suspected violations.

3. Prohibited Storage and Activities
You must not store:
• Perishables, food, or living creatures.
• Flammables (gasoline, propane, paint, fireworks, etc.).
• Hazardous or toxic chemicals.
• Illegal or stolen goods, drugs, or drug paraphernalia.
• Items emitting strong odors or wet/damp items.
• Cash, jewelry, or irreplaceable valuables (unless insured).
You also must not:
• Use the unit as living quarters or office.
• Cause nuisance, obstruction, or leave trash.
• Run appliances or machinery inside unattended.

4. Payment Terms
• Minimum Stay: One-month minimum rental. No refunds under any circumstances.
• Billing: Rent is charged monthly in advance. Payment is made exclusively via Stripe using internationally issued cards. Indonesian-issued cards are not accepted.
• Automatic Renewal: Each rental auto-renews month-to-month until terminated.
• Late Fees: A USD $20 late fee applies if payment is not received within 15 days of the due date, and again every subsequent 15 days while unpaid.
• Collections Process:
1. If payment is not made by the end of the first day of the new billing cycle, building access will be immediately suspended. You must contact us to regain access.
2. If payment remains unpaid for two full monthly cycles, at the end of that period, we will:
• Open your locker, remove all contents, and move them to a secure overflow storage facility.
• Make your locker available to new customers.
3. Items will remain in overflow storage for up to 3 additional months, billed monthly at the same rental rate.
4. If the debt is still unpaid after those 90 days, all stored goods will be sold, disposed of, or otherwise dealt with at our discretion.
5. Proceeds of sale (if any) will first cover your debt and costs. Any surplus may be returned if claimed within 30 days.

5. Insurance and Liability
• The Company provides no insurance. Storage is entirely at your own risk.
• We are not liable for theft, fire, water, mold, pests, natural disasters, or any damage to your belongings.
• You are strongly advised to insure your property separately.
• Our total liability, if any, is limited to the past 3 months’ rent paid.

6. Default and Remedies
If you fail to pay rent or breach these terms, we may:
• Deny access to the facility.
• Add late fees and collection costs to your balance.
• Move your goods to overflow storage as outlined above.
• Sell or dispose of your goods after 90 days.

7. Termination
• By Customer: After the one-month minimum, you may terminate with 14 days’ notice. No refunds apply.
• By Company: We may terminate with 14 days’ notice or immediately in case of breach.

8. Notices and Contact
You must keep your contact details up to date. Notices will be sent by email, app, or phone. Notices from you to us must be via email to our official contact.

9. Compliance with Laws
You must comply with all applicable Indonesian laws. We may report illegal activities to authorities.

10. Optional Services
We may offer transport or packing assistance. Delivery into storage may be arranged, but customers must collect items themselves. Any such services are at additional cost and risk.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denpasar, Bali, unless arbitration is chosen by the Company.

12. Miscellaneous
• You may not assign or transfer your unit.
• You indemnify the Company against claims from your storage use.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
• We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance.
